Terms and conditions

The Massage DeLuxe salon is operated, and the services are provided, by LEXPO TRADE s.r.o., company ID (IČO) 17643694, registered at Na Bělidle 63/1, 150 00 Praha 5 – Smíchov, Czech Republic, entered in the Czech commercial register.

The operator is not a healthcare provider. Massage is a body-care service, not a healthcare service within the meaning of Czech Act No. 372/2011 Coll., and it does not replace medical or physiotherapeutic care.

• Customer: the individual who books or receives a service, or who buys a gift voucher.
• Service: a massage, ritual or other treatment from the salon's current menu.
• Booking: a binding reservation of a specific service at a specific date and time.
• Reservation deposit: the amount of 500 CZK paid in advance and deducted from the price of the service.
• Voucher: a gift voucher issued by the operator in electronic or printed form.

There are three ways to book: online through the booking form on this website (around the clock), by phone on +420 774 505 613 during opening hours, or by e-mail at info@massagedeluxe.cz.

An online booking is a proposal to conclude a contract. The contract is concluded the moment the operator confirms the booking. The confirmation is sent automatically by e-mail once the reservation deposit has been paid and contains the booking code, the service, date, time, duration and price.

• Bookings can be made no earlier than 3 hours before the appointment starts and no more than 60 days ahead.
• You choose the service and its length, not a specific room or therapist. The salon assigns the therapist and the treatment room; we will try to honour a request for a particular therapist where the schedule allows.
• The price is always calculated on the operator's side from the current price list. The price shown in your browser is indicative; the price stated in the booking confirmation is what applies.

A booking without a paid deposit is held as unconfirmed and the salon may cancel it once the payment window expires, releasing the slot to other guests.

An online booking is confirmed by a 500 CZK deposit. The operator gives you the payment details over the phone and the deposit is paid by bank transfer to the operator's account. The operator does not process card payments and does not store card details.

The deposit is always deducted from the final price of the service. On the day you pay only the remainder. It is not a surcharge or an extra booking fee.

Why we take it: every booked appointment blocks a treatment room and a therapist's time and makes that slot unavailable to anyone else. A no-show is a direct loss for a small salon with three rooms.

If you intend to pay with an employee benefit card, please tell us when booking. We will arrange the deposit with you individually so that you are not charged twice.

• More than 48 hours before the appointment: it can be cancelled or moved free of charge. We refund the deposit to the account it came from, usually within 14 days.
• Less than 48 hours before the appointment: the deposit is forfeited as a contractual penalty for a slot that was neither used nor released in time.
• No-show without notice: the deposit is forfeited on the same basis.
• Cancellation by the salon (therapist illness, technical failure, emergency closure): the deposit is refunded in full and we offer you an alternative appointment.

In exceptional, documented situations (sudden illness, injury, bereavement) we assess cancellations individually and the deposit is generally not forfeited. Just get in touch.

We recommend arriving five to ten minutes before your appointment so that the full booked time is available for the treatment itself.

If you arrive late, the treatment is shortened by the length of the delay so that the next guest's appointment is not affected. The price does not change, because the room and the therapist were reserved for the whole of the original time. If the delay exceeds half the booked length, the salon may treat the appointment as unused.

Prices are quoted in Czech crowns and are final. The price list published on this website at the moment the booking is created is the one that applies.

• Booking deposit: bank transfer to the operator's account.
• Balance on the day: cash, payment card, gift voucher or employee benefit card.
• Benefit cards accepted with no surcharge: Benefit Plus, Sodexo, Pluxee, Benefity.cz.
• A receipt is issued on the premises; we will send it electronically on request.

The operator reserves the right to change the price list. A change never affects bookings already confirmed or vouchers already purchased.

Gift vouchers can be bought online on this website or in person at the salon. A voucher bought online is delivered to the purchaser by e-mail as a PDF, normally immediately after payment; on request it can be collected in printed form at the salon.

• A voucher is issued either for a specific service or for a monetary value.
• Validity is printed on the voucher; it is 12 months from issue as standard.
• Vouchers are transferable: anyone who presents one may redeem it.
• Redeem a voucher when booking: enter its code in the note field or give it to us over the phone, and we will reserve the slot without a deposit.
• Vouchers cannot be exchanged for money or paid out in cash.
• If the service costs less than the value of the voucher, the difference is neither refunded nor carried over. If it costs more, the difference is paid on the day.
• The operator is not liable for a lost or destroyed voucher; for electronic vouchers we will resend it to the original e-mail address on request.

Validity can be extended once by agreement if you ask before it expires. Once validity has lapsed, the entitlement ends.

For leisure services supplied at a specified date, a consumer has no right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days. This follows from Section 1837 of the Czech Civil Code. The statutory withdrawal period therefore does not apply to a booking for a specific massage appointment; the cancellation rules in article 5 apply instead.

Gift vouchers are different, because they are not tied to a specific date. If you buy a voucher online, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of delivery provided it has not yet been redeemed. Simply tell us by e-mail at info@massagedeluxe.cz; we will refund the money by the same method it was paid, within 14 days of withdrawal.

Before the treatment begins, the customer must inform the therapist of any health circumstances that could affect the massage: in particular pregnancy, acute problems, recent injuries, operations, skin conditions, allergies, oncological illness, vein disorders and any medication taken.

A massage cannot be performed in cases including fever and acute infectious illness, acute inflammation, fresh injuries and open wounds, infectious skin conditions, acute thrombosis, the first trimester of pregnancy and high-risk pregnancy, or while under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants.

The therapist may refuse or interrupt a treatment where there is reasonable doubt about its suitability or safety. In that case the deposit is refunded or transferred to an alternative appointment.

Withholding material health information is at the customer's own risk; the operator is not liable for consequences arising from it.

• The salon is a space for rest, so please silence phones and keep conversation quiet.
• Towels, disposable underwear and a shower are provided; there is nothing you need to bring.
• Guests under 18 may receive a treatment only when accompanied by a legal guardian or with their demonstrable consent.
• The salon reserves the right to refuse service to anyone visibly under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants, or behaving inappropriately towards staff.
• Any behaviour of a sexual nature is grounds for immediate termination of the treatment with no refund.

Personal belongings are left in the space provided. The operator is not liable for valuables, cash or electronics left in the salon; we recommend keeping them with you.

The operator is liable for damage caused by breach of its obligations to the extent set out in the Czech Civil Code.

If you are not satisfied with a treatment, please raise it ideally on the spot, and in any case without undue delay, by e-mail at info@massagedeluxe.cz or by phone on +420 774 505 613.

We will settle a complaint within 30 days of it being raised and will confirm the outcome in writing to the e-mail address you give us.

If we cannot reach agreement, a consumer has the right to out-of-court dispute resolution. The competent body is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), Štěpánská 796/44, 110 00 Prague 1, adr.coi.cz. Proceedings are opened at the consumer's request and are free of charge.

Matters not covered by these terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, in particular the Civil Code and the Consumer Protection Act.

The operator may amend these terms. Each booking and each voucher is governed by the wording in force when it was created or purchased. The current wording is always available on this page.
