Why us

Four reasons people come back

We are not a chain. We are three rooms in Smíchov where someone always has time for you.

  • Relief you still feel the next day

A looser back, calmer sleep, less swelling. An hour here is not just quiet time. We work on what is actually bothering you.

  • Tailored, never off a template

Before we start we ask where it hurts and how much pressure suits you. Pace and technique follow you, not the price list.

  • Trained, certified therapists

Thai technique, lymphatic drainage, sports massage, Head Spa. Everyone on the team has a specialism and years behind it.

  • Quiet, three minutes from Anděl

Three separate rooms, low light and nobody in a hurry. Smíchov stays outside the door.

Head Spa

Japanese care for hair and scalp

It starts with a head and neck massage, moves on to a warm-water hair wash and deep scalp care. The longest version adds the Head Spa dome, a face mask, a paraffin wrap and a foot massage. Most guests are asleep before we reach the temples.

FAQ

Before you book

The six questions we are asked most often.

Where are you and how do I get there from Anděl metro?

We are at Na Bělidle 63/1, Prague 5 – Smíchov, at street level, roughly 200 metres from Anděl metro station (line B). Leave the station towards Nádražní street and it is a three-minute walk. Na Bělidle branches off it. Anděl is also a major tram and bus interchange, and Nový Smíchov shopping centre is two minutes away.

Where can I park nearby?

All of Smíchov is a paid-parking zone, so the blue bays are reserved for residents. The simplest option is the underground car park at the Nový Smíchov shopping centre (Plzeňská 8), about five minutes' walk away. There are also purple visitor bays in the surrounding streets, paid through the Prague parking app. Most guests come by metro. Anděl really is around the corner.

What are your opening hours?

We are open every day, weekends and public holidays included, from 10:00 to 20:00. The last treatment has to finish by closing time, so the latest start for a 90-minute session is 18:30. The phone and WhatsApp are answered during the same hours.

Can I have a massage while pregnant, and from when?

We take pregnancy bookings from the start of the second trimester, roughly week 14, and always after you have checked with your obstetrician. We do not massage during the first trimester. You lie on your side supported by cushions, never face down, and the therapist avoids the lower back and certain points around the ankles. If your pregnancy is high-risk, or you have bleeding or a fever, postpone the treatment.

When should I not come for a massage?

Postpone if you have a fever, an acute infection or inflammation, a fresh injury, broken or inflamed skin, or a history of thrombosis. After surgery, and with cancer, vein problems or untreated high blood pressure, ask your doctor first and mention it in the notes when you book. We are a wellness salon, not a medical facility: our treatments are for relaxation and recovery, not therapy.

How often should I get a massage?

For general well-being, once every three to four weeks is plenty. If you are working on something specific, such as a stiff neck from desk work, swollen legs or cellulite, a course of five to ten sessions once or twice a week works far better, followed by a maintenance rhythm. With body-shaping and apparatus treatments the first visible change usually appears after the fifth or sixth session, which is why they are sold as packages.
