Herbal balls are cloth bundles packed with a blend of dried herbs. They are steamed before the treatment so they release both their scent and their active compounds, and then pressed directly into the body. Moist heat penetrates a muscle differently from dry heat: it is softer, covers more ground at once, and works faster.
The blend follows traditional Southeast Asian recipes: turmeric, ginger, lemongrass, camphor and other herbs that have been used in this technique for centuries. Heat and aromatics work in two directions at once: physically on the muscle tissue, and aromatherapeutically on your breathing and nervous system. The room smells so good during the treatment that you will still be thinking about it the next day.
The hour concentrates on the back, neck and legs, where the effect is most pronounced. The hundred-minute version covers the whole body including arms, chest and feet, and is more of a ritual than a treatment. If you have never tried herbal balls, the hour is a good place to start. We suggest not showering straight afterwards, so the herbs have a little longer to work.

Will I smell of herbs afterwards? Yes, for several hours. Turmeric, ginger and lemongrass linger on the skin and in the hair, which is worth knowing if you have a meeting straight after.
Can I shower right away? You can, but we suggest waiting at least two hours. The herbs absorb gradually, and a shower cuts that short for no good reason.
What if I have allergies? Tell us when you book. We will show you the blend before we start, and if there is any doubt we will suggest a different treatment, because these mixtures are concentrated.

A 500 CZK deposit confirms your slot and is deducted from the price of the treatment. Cancel more than 48 hours ahead and we refund it in full.
